A great wine tasting experience, but it's inventory time...

Le Rouge et le Verre was a great surprise for a small internal company get-together while we were in Paris (no clients, just our team from the local office). The place feels truly French and full of character, with a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, which immediately made the evening even better. It’s not a restaurant and there’s no real kitchen — it’s mainly a wine shop and bar — but they do offer high-quality bites like terrines, bruschetta-style snacks, and other small plates (assembled on site, not cooked from scratch), and everything we tried was excellent. The real highlight is the wine selection: huge variety, great range of styles and prices, and overall very reasonable for Paris — even my French colleagues pointed out how fair the pricing is. The spirits were also top quality. If you’re in Paris, I definitely recommend stopping by, either to enjoy a bottle there or pick one up to take home. Highly recommended for a relaxed drink in a charming setting.

I went to that restaurant for a family dinner a couple weeks ago with my girlfriend and my parents. The food and wine were very good, and the waiters very professional and helpful.

One of those rare, rare finds as you peer into the window of the Thai restaurant you booked and turned around to see this place! The waiter emptied the bottle into our glasses and smiled at our sparkling eyes.

Top neighborhood wine bistro. With a fireplace as a bonus. Superb selection of wines and €8 corkage for on-site consumption, it's perfect.

A very welcoming place! We were seated next to the fireplace, and everything was perfect! Homemade and expertly prepared regional cuisine, a wide selection of wines, and impeccable service from start to finish. We had a wonderful evening and will be back!
