A young, dynamic, and charming team! A very pleasant setting, lovely decor, a far cry from your average bare-bones shack. A bit more expensive than their neighbors, and fewer pâté options. Oysters are the star... a dozen number 4 oysters for €16, on their own. The large pink prawns are very beautiful. Porcelain pâté, plain or with Espelette pepper, isn't anything special. An indoor dining area for windy/rainy days.

An institution as an "oyster farmer's hut" in the Port of Laros in Gujan-Mestras... the oysters, king prawns, and whelks are incredibly fresh, and the service is quick and friendly... even in peak season!! A truly beautiful place. /Stéphane

Always fresh produce and super welcoming service, all on a very cozy, sunny terrace. A little holiday break in our day. Really lovely, and has been for many years. Well done!

La Baraque a Huitres

16/04/2026: In the small port of Larros, this hut with its yellow parasols is really nice and authentic. They serve very good oysters, whelks, prawns... a glass of wine is offered with the oysters... the welcome is warm and the service very good... we gladly return every time we go to the bay.
15/04/2026: My favorite place for oysters – they're always incredibly fresh and delicious. The atmosphere on both terraces is fantastic, with friendly and efficient service! Not to mention the dry white wine that pairs perfectly with oysters. Wonderful! Don't hesitate to visit them 🇺🇦
