The servers are a little nervous, but you don't have to wait to be served, it's the only place directly outside the sanctuary on the St. Joseph gate side.

Food wasn’t terrible but not excellent either. While salad was generous in portion the meat in the entrecôte/frites desperately needed the pepper sauce for taste and was fatty in places. Great location just near the Lourdes grotto exit, La Porte de Saint-Joseph. Great service, English speaking waiters, wonderfully French people watching set-up.

Excellent. We had a wonderful meal for €35 for two in the center of Lourdes, just steps from the sanctuary. My partner has an allergy, and the staff made sure there was nothing like that in each dish. The service was incredibly fast and the food was excellent! The waiters were very friendly. Impeccable.

Ideal place for a quick bite. The cafe is located right in front of the sanctuary gate so you can stop between 2 activities and charge your batteries. the service is fast and the pastries are yummy , especially the lemon pie.

Hotel Roissy

06/08/2026: This was our second stay at this hotel, and its convenient location, just a short walk from the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, makes it an excellent choice for pilgrims and visitors alike. It was pleasing to see that the hotel has undertaken refurbishment since our last visit. The reception team Emma and Cinge were warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms and bathrooms have been tastefully renovated with a modern design and updated amenities. However, the standard of housekeeping remains quite basic, and there are noticeable maintenance issues that would benefit from greater attention. Addressing these areas would further enhance the overall guest experience.
10/07/2026: The location is excellent, very close to the beautiful Sanctuary. The buffet breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. The lunch and dinner was a 3 course set menu and excellent, especially the fish dish and desserts. The dining room has full length windows giving a good view over the street. A supermarket straight opposite is useful for all essentials. We receiced kind, caring and attentive service from all staff. The bar area is a peaceful and relaxing space. The beds were comfortable and room clean and quiet and with the bonus of a balcony. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we hope to visit again. Thank you, may god bless you all 😊 Chris
