Le Royal Brasserie sur Caen

Disappointed with our visit. The beer was flat and the waitress was particularly unpleasant when we asked for a replacement. Their customer service skills clearly need improvement.

Excellent experience, the waiter Enzo was incredibly friendly!! I highly recommend it

Excellent service. The waiter named Enzo is truly amazing!

Excellent location and very pleasant welcome.

Lovely ambiance, exquisite food, excellent service. Highly recommended.

Best value for money in Caen!!! In addition to a magnificent room and impeccable service, we had a wonderful meal.

Superb from warm welcome to fantastic choice on menu and excellent wines. Food cooked to perfection and beautifully presented

Excellent food and a professional, attentive team. A truly great place! Thank you for a lovely experience.

Absolutely fantastic! You can go there without hesitation. The burger is made with quality ingredients, including the incredibly soft bun. The carpaccio was served with a lovely salad and fresh fries. And the best part? A delicious crème brûlée—a real treat! A truly delightful experience. They took excellent care of us (with a 2-year-old).

A lovely experience at this downtown brasserie. The welcome was very pleasant. The service was top-notch; the three waitresses who looked after us were all very professional, friendly, and always smiling. A superb attitude from these waitresses, the kind you see less and less these days—well done! Okay, I'm old-fashioned, but here I found exactly what I expect from service: efficient and pleasant at the same time. You don't feel like you're bothering them, as is often the case elsewhere. As for the food, the chicken supreme was very good with an excellent morel sauce. The Caesar and salmon salads were also good. We also really enjoyed the mille-feuille and the decadent profiteroles. The cider was truly excellent and not strong for a brut; we liked it. The brasserie aspect initially put me off, but in the end, it's a great place that I recommend. Parking isn't easy, unless you use the underground car park directly opposite, under Place de la République.
