La Planche A sur Caen

Fantastic establishment! We received a very warm welcome, and the waiter was friendly and attentive. We chose the mussels and fries, and they were delicious. The best part is that everything is homemade, which is becoming rare these days. While on holiday in Caen, we wouldn't hesitate for a second to return if we're ever in Caen again.

A lovely establishment where we enjoyed delicious mussels with equally good fries, followed by a generously filled platter for dessert. The staff were very welcoming and friendly; we had a pleasant evening. Thank you.

Stopped on the spur of the moment😀 Wanted to try some Cider and we did. Drank from traditional cider dishes which was fun 😂 No time to eat😕 Inside and outside seating areas😀🇫🇷 Inside was very posh (see video” 😀👍🏼 For a pot luck visit we enjoyed it and for traditional cider we loved it. Would go again for drinks😀🇫🇷🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Young and old are welcome, and everyone will find something to enjoy. The menu also caters to vegetarians, with several delicious options. Something to please everyone around the same table! This restaurant is a real gem! We received a very warm welcome from all the servers this evening, and the service was impeccable. The menus were generous and beautifully presented; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the portions were more than enough. The mussels and fries were perfectly cooked, and the accompanying fries were full of flavor, a welcome change from more traditional restaurants. The dessert, with its surprise ice creams, kept us guessing until the very end, giving us time to taste and discover the flavors—a fun moment for both children and adults! The Madeleine dessert is fantastic; I highly recommend it. It's clean, and the decor is elegant and harmonious. The restaurant, service, and food are all top-notch!
