Overall experience was excellent, as was the location on the street and the service. The food, entrées and desserts were well presented, sufficiently generous and tastefully prepared.

We've known the Royalty for many years, and every time we were in Biarritz, we never hesitated. What a change—not in the food, but in the overall atmosphere! No more white linen tablecloths, long waits, and overworked waiters who seem sad they can't do their jobs properly. And we understand them! A glaring lack of staff and undoubtedly a desire to cut costs have turned this once lovely brasserie into something ordinary and unremarkable. What a shame! We'll certainly be less of a regular from now on.

We stopped by the Royalty for lunch and shared the Black Pearl ribeye steak between the three of us. It was served with mashed potatoes, a salad, and blue cheese and pepper sauces, which we absolutely loved. The price was quite high, but the quality was definitely there; it was excellent, we savored every bite. A must-try for meat lovers! And the service was perfect, with very welcoming staff.
