A dry Viennese pastry, an average pain au chocolat. A little disappointed, I was expecting something better. Nothing exceptional in terms of pastries, but a friendly welcome.

I go there regularly, and for my part, nothing to complain about. The staff is very pleasant. The sandwiches are generous, delicious, and reasonably priced. Orders are always respected (personally, often the royal one, which is fantastic). As for the baguette, it's the best I know and the only one that comes out of the freezer spotless. I recently bought some spelt bread (a real treat and a great discovery).

A superb bakery with friendly and welcoming waitresses! The quality of the products is excellent, everything is delicious 😚, especially the savory items (sandwiches, daily specials, wraps, bagna). I highly recommend it+++ The best bakery in Provins 👍🏻

09/04/2026: We came for lunch on the terrace of Le Chatel. The waitress who greeted us was rather unfriendly when taking our order. The set lunch menu (€23.90) was very good. However, the waitress came to ask us to pay while I was finishing my coffee. Furthermore, when it came time to pay, I asked her to pay for a set menu plus a coffee. She didn't know the price of the set menu and therefore asked me to calculate the bill myself… I understand that she doesn't work there every day, but asking a customer to calculate their bill isn't very courteous.
06/04/2026: We had a wonderful time with our family on the sunny terrace. The welcome was very pleasant, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant in the heart of the village. 💯
