13/01/2026: A fantastic place that makes celeriac sexy, I highly recommend it. First of all, the food is excellent, the ingredients are high-quality and prepared with care. Furthermore, the restaurant offers a set lunch menu (starter, main course, and dessert) for only €19, and the prices of the other dishes are clearly justified given the quality of what's offered. Finally, the service is exceptionally fast; the waiter and one of the two chefs have a rare level of coordination that allows for efficient service without any waiting—perfect for a lunch break! I highly recommend this place if you're in Rennes or the surrounding area :)

04/01/2026: I used to eat at Le Bocal 15 years ago when I was a student, and I went back during the holidays. Nothing has changed; it's still perfect. The wine selection is excellent, the food is smart and affordable, and the service was impeccable!
