Yesterday, my husband and I had the pleasure of discovering Le Saint Jean thanks to a gift certificate from our son for a six-course tasting menu. What a delightful surprise! We didn't know the menu beforehand, and that's precisely what made the experience even more magical: complete trust in the chef. Each dish was a revelation, with sublime flavors, perfect seasoning, and fresh herbs that enhanced every bite. We especially loved the trout and lamb, cooked with exceptional skill. The presentation was also exquisite, with beautiful tableware. The dining room offers a stunning view of the gliders and the valley, adding a touch of poetry to the experience. It's a place we want to return to without hesitation, and we certainly intend to do so very soon! A huge thank you to the entire team for this moment of pure culinary bliss. Highly recommended!

After a very warm welcome, the experience begins with a breathtaking view of Chambéry and Mont Granier, a real asset for the restaurant! Then, the dishes arrive one after another, each a delight: local and seasonal produce takes center stage, showcasing the chef's creativity, who seems to revel in everything around him. The food is flavorful and original, so good that we sometimes wish for more generous portions, like the flame-seared whitefish from the lake. A second bite would have been most welcome. The wine pairings are excellent, although a wider selection of wines by the glass would have been appreciated. These are minor details, however, as we had a truly wonderful evening! A very promising restaurant.
