When I'm passing through Château-Thierry, I stop for a coffee on the terrace or under the shelter of the veranda. The staff is pleasant and friendly. They just needed a croissant! Nice

We had dinner on the terrace... 7 people, including two little girls, 8 and 3 years old... who, as we were leaving, told me, "Grandma, this is the best restaurant we've ever been to!" We were absolutely delighted with our visit and our delicious meals. A month ago, my husband and I came... the same warm welcome... and my lamb shank was incredibly succulent. Tonight, the duck breast was perfectly cooked, and the accompanying sauce was perfect. The portions were generous. The waitress was charming, smiling, kind, professional, and dedicated to her work. We thank her very much. Our evening was a success, and our stomachs were pleasantly full. See you very soon. From Jeannine, Serge, Rémi, Fred, Jordan... and little Mia and Elena.

Born in Château-Thierry. It had been a long time since I'd been back, and stopping at Le Saint Jean was a very pleasant way to do so. The meal was generous, and above all, the service was as efficient as it was friendly, both to us and to the children who were with us. Thank you for your hospitality, and keep up the good work!

I went there with some friends and we had a fantastic time! 🥰 Honestly, it's so tempting! You can immediately tell it's homemade, with generous portions, fresh and prepared with care. The dishes are beautifully presented and, most importantly, it's absolutely delicious and full of flavor. It has that authentic, home-style cooking feel that makes all the difference. You can tell it's made with love, and you can taste it in every bite! A wonderful discovery, I highly recommend it! ❤️🍽️✨

Good experience, very good quality andouillette and brie, and Liège coffee with real whipped cream. However, allow at least 1.5 to 2 hours for your lunch. The service was a bit slow.

27/02/2026: What a great find, 95! I was in the neighborhood for the week and made it my go-to lunch spot every day. The welcome is always warm, and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming (the place is full of regulars, retirees, and local workers). The service is impeccable, quick, and pleasant. The bistro cuisine is good, simple, with attention to detail, and very generous. The value for money is unbeatable: €17 for a starter and main course or main course and dessert, or €21 for a starter, main course, and dessert. I always ate very well (not having a sweet tooth, I didn't try the desserts). Special mention goes to the starters, which, besides being delicious, are also particularly generous. Every day, a daily special adds a starter, a main course, and a dessert to the menu, and they are just as good as the dishes on the regular menu. Thank you for your hospitality!
