This is the best couscous in France! And it's true! I love couscous, I try couscous restaurants in every French city, and I've never found one this good! Go there, you won't be disappointed, and you'll be served by lovely people.

A true culinary journey! A marvel. If you're looking for excellent couscous or an authentic tagine, this is the place to go! We had a wonderful time. The portions are incredibly generous. The couscous is a delight: the semolina is incredibly fine and light, the broth is bursting with flavor, and the meats are perfectly cooked: merguez sausage, lamb, beef, chicken. As for the tagines, they are perfectly seasoned, with that subtle sweet and savory blend we love. The welcome is incredibly warm; the owner and the team are exceptionally kind. You feel right at home. Go without hesitation!

07/08/2026: Great experience, I must highlight the "strawberry nectar in syrup with lemon zest and cane sugar" - I thought it was delicious, the experience was good and it was good value for money (I've just come back from Switzerland, so my prices are skewed).

Le Saint Laurent

25/08/2026: The food was delicious, but for a Georges Blanc establishment, with prices to match, I would have appreciated a higher standard of service (a bottle of sparkling water was ordered, a bottle of still water was brought, and a complimentary mini-gazpacho was offered, but neither a savory accompaniment was provided for the aperitif nor a sweet one for the coffee). The snail ravioli appetizer was delicious, and I regretted only having three (the same number as on the à la carte menu and the set menu). Doubling the portion would have been perfectly acceptable. The frog legs were very well prepared and in a generous quantity, as was the rum baba, which was very generously soaked in rum.
21/08/2026: Great location on the banks of the Saône with a beautiful view of Mâcon and the Saint Laurent bridge. Very friendly staff and the food was excellent! We had lunch there on a Sunday and we'll definitely be back :) 👍
