Great brasserie, lovely setting, and a great atmosphere! A selection of classic brasserie dishes as well as more elaborate options! A good selection of draft beers! The staff is super friendly. The prices are reasonable.

This is an excellent chip shop. It's my favorite in Maubeuge. Everything on the menu is really good, but what I particularly appreciate are the daily specials, which are always delicious. The service is quick and efficient, yet always very friendly. Every time I go, it's a pleasure to go and a great satisfaction to eat there.

Un moment chez Bacchus

16/05/2026: We had a super delicious meal. We were welcomed incredibly warmly. You can feel the passion of the chef, who greets the guests himself and presents his menu. A special plate was also prepared for our daughter. Highly recommended.
05/04/2026: A few improvements to make: - Avoid pouring the last of the champagne from a bottle and then topping it up with a fresh glass; - Avoid serving the beginning of the foie gras terrine; serve a slice instead; - Incredibly long wait times (we arrived at the restaurant at noon and left at 4 p.m.); - Understaffed: for 16 occupied tables, there were only 4 people, including the chef; - Tables are a bit cramped. - The food is generally simple, and the Easter dessert (praline nest) was tasteless. Overall rating: 3
