We came as a family, about 25 people, on a Friday evening. The waiter was alone, and he did a great job! Everyone was very satisfied.

It's always a pleasure to eat here. However, we only come once or twice a year because it's quite expensive. We often end up with a bill of €50-70, compared to €25 at a regular chip shop (due to the sodas and desserts). As for the pitta, it's not exceptional, which is why I don't order it anymore. The restaurant is nice and the staff/servers are great :)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great experience at Friterie Saint-Lazar 🍟🔥! I had a pita plate with crudités 🥙🥗 and it was excellent 😋: perfectly cooked meat, generous portions, and fresh ingredients 👌. The service was quick and the welcome was fantastic 😊. I highly recommend this place for great food in Maubeuge 💯🍴

Great brasserie, lovely setting, and a great atmosphere! A selection of classic brasserie dishes as well as more elaborate options! A good selection of draft beers! The staff is super friendly. The prices are reasonable.

20/07/2026: Honestly, one of the best fine dining experiences I’ve ever had, and at such a fair price. The chef takes the time to personally welcome everyone and explain the menu, while putting so much care into making every dish absolutely spectacular and delicious. This place is definitely worth a detour or a special stop. The wine list is abundant and wonderful, and during the day, you can also enjoy the possibility of sitting outside if it’s sunny. I truly hope I’ll have the chance to return. Thank you for such a memorable experience and sharing your passion for food!
07/07/2026: An impeccable restaurant! The food is not only delicious, but the portions are generous. It's clear that everything is homemade. The service is very professional, and the back room allows you to dine in peace and quiet, right in the city center. The waiter and chef go out of their way to ensure you feel pampered. Bravo! I recommend it 300%!
