Excellent location inside the city walls and very close to the square. Large room with a very comfortable bed. Simple but tasteful decor. Very warm welcome and a generous breakfast with quality products.

We booked a room for two people on a Friday in February. The hotel is centrally located, a 5-minute walk from the parking lot. The welcome was very warm. The room was upgraded, very clean, and the bed was very comfortable.

The hotel is well located. However, the service and welcome fell short of our expectations. During our stay, we felt the staff wasn't very attentive to the guests. When we reported a very strong sewage smell in our room, the staff told us that's what happens when it rains. When we requested a hot drink in our room, we were charged for a cup of tea. Finally, during the off-season, it seems reasonable to expect some helpful advice on suitable restaurants that are open during this period.

For me, the Hôtel Saint-Louis is the benchmark in Aigues-Mortes. How could it be otherwise, given its name alone? A very quiet hotel, ideally located in the heart of the ramparts, just steps from Place Saint-Louis. The decor is tasteful, refined, and authentic down to the smallest detail. Authenticity, in this respect, becomes a luxury, as it is increasingly rare these days. The staff is top-notch, truly attentive (I commend them), present, and always smiling. A serene atmosphere pervades the hotel. You will feel completely safe and secure. A significant bonus is that the hotel takes care of your parking – which, in Aigues-Mortes, is no small detail. Finally, I must mention the excellent value for money. In short? I recommend the Hôtel Saint-Louis 100%. You can book directly with complete confidence. On my next visit, I will post photos of the Hotel with their permission (because there are real works of art inside).

Superb hotel located in Aigues-Mortes, within the fortified town. Interior patio, period building with large doors, stone staircases, and exposed stone walls on the ground floor. The room we had was spacious and cozy overlooking the patio (no noise at all), with a king-size bed and twin beds. Very comfortable bedding. Bathroom with a spa bath, heated towel rail, slippers provided, and a hairdryer. The hotel is pet-friendly. Very large restaurant. Full breakfast with sweet and savory options, including the delicious fougasse bread. The receptionist is lovely and very professional. A parking pass for the outdoor lots is provided with the room, making parking free.
