We came by chance… and chance played its part perfectly. We loved it: the waiter was efficient and charming, offering valuable advice and a touch of humor. The meal featured Époisses cheese, and I've never eaten such a tender ribeye! 🥰 The owner is approachable and very attentive, and frankly, considering the quality, the price is a steal! So glad to have discovered this place, even though I've been in Semur for over 27 years! Delicious, typical Burgundian meal, with a special mention for the Époisses tiramisu – a real treat! The setting is charming and pleasant. Highly recommended!

6 of us came here for an evening meal. Nice sunny outside tables for drinks. Food was unpretentious and delicous. Boef bourgignon v good. Service was friendly and accommodating. Music was quite dancy, but vibes were nice and relaxed.

Another Berthaut menu, no surprises, very generous portions, good salad and tartiflette, a very tender rare ribeye steak, a very good Berthaut platter, and homemade Chantilly cream... 🤤 A nice drinks menu too. Thanks to the chef and his waiter! A couple, evening of February 15, 2026

We were very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. We received a very warm welcome. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented with high-quality ingredients. A lovely touch: a small rose for Valentine's Day at the end of the meal.

16/03/2026: Honestly, a really great kebab! The meat is flavorful, the bread is fresh, and the portions are generous. The staff is welcoming, and the service is quick. We come from Vitteaux without a reservation, with or without our children, and it's always a real treat! Honestly, I don't understand the negative reviews, because everything always goes very well during our visits, and above all, they always ask us before we leave if everything was alright... Which just goes to show you sometimes have to form your own opinion! Plus, they have very good falafel for vegetarians 🤤😋 I highly recommend it: you can go there without hesitation and on an empty stomach: a guaranteed delicious meal!!! 😊

19/05/2026: It's a shame the dishes we ordered were no longer available. The setting was pleasant, and the staff were friendly but a little slow. We enjoyed our meals.
17/05/2026: Excellent dinner. Aperitif: red wine, Comté cheese cubes, and sausage (a bit too peppery). Sweet and succulent beef bourguignon with mashed potatoes. I would have preferred it with small pasta shells, but it was very good. Toasted tart, perfectly caramelized. Don't miss it!
