Excellent place! The beef bourguignon was incredibly good, very flavorful, and a generous portion. We also really enjoyed the restaurant's atmosphere. The fruit juice cocktails were very pleasant, and the Chablis was good too. As for the desserts, the Liège-style sundae and the clafoutis were truly delicious. We had a wonderful time.

A classic choice if you love French cuisine. Hearty and good, but without the fuss. Here, you simply get good food served honestly. Don't expect culinary masterpieces, just a good meal.

A truly wonderful place. The local cuisine is warm, delicious, and the service is very pleasant! The house aperitif is a delight, as is the Morvan tartiflette!

We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Saint Vernier in August 2026. The food was good, although a bit pricey compared to other restaurants of the same type. However, there was a wide variety of choices on the menu!
The terrace was also a bit cramped... But the service was pleasant and the atmosphere was nice.

€40 Set Menu:
Good parsley ham, salad with rotten bits.
Eggs meurette, good portion, cooked just right, but way too salty.
Ribeye steak, cooked "perfectly," which wasn't easy given its thinness (around 150g), not an attractive cut and not very tasty.
Industrial mayonnaise, no big deal, I like it, not enough fries.
Uninteresting dessert. Coke by the glass, flat, not sure it was real.
Smiling, pleasant waiter who deserved his tip, clean restrooms.
In short, it's a mixed bag. I know many other places with a starter/main/dessert for €19; we could have eaten enough for two, and they were much better.

We had the Burgundy menu for 30 euros, and it was delicious. The snail stew was a new discovery for me, and it was very good, and the beef bourguignon was amazing.
I highly recommend this restaurant.
