16/03/2026: Honestly, a really great kebab! The meat is flavorful, the bread is fresh, and the portions are generous. The staff is welcoming, and the service is quick.
We come from Vitteaux without a reservation, with or without our children, and it's always a real treat!
Honestly, I don't understand the negative reviews, because everything always goes very well during our visits, and above all, they always ask us before we leave if everything was alright... Which just goes to show you sometimes have to form your own opinion!
Plus, they have very good falafel for vegetarians 🤤😋
I highly recommend it: you can go there without hesitation and on an empty stomach: a guaranteed delicious meal!!! 😊

20/05/2026: A cold welcome and unpleasant service from beginning to end. Every time we asked for something, we clearly felt like we were bothering them.
As for the food, the tomatoes in the starter were overcooked, mushy, and had an alcoholic taste. The steak with eggs, ordered rare, arrived well-done, accompanied by cold fries.
And to top it all off, a "floating island" without an island... that pretty much sums up the experience. The only positive point was the price, around twenty euros. Very disappointed, we won't be back.
19/05/2026: It's a shame the dishes we ordered were no longer available. The setting was pleasant, and the staff were friendly but a little slow. We enjoyed our meals.

24/04/2026: I completely agree with some of the reviews: the hygiene was nonexistent, which is essential in a restaurant. The salad was poorly washed because it was crunchy, and I also found a sort of white-black-white hair (like the fur of a tabby cat). They should undergo HACCP training because consuming unwashed or poorly washed salad poses risks (bacteria and other contaminants).
Furthermore, when I mentioned it to the cashier, she showed no concern whatsoever. I don't mind eating frozen products, but cleanliness and food hygiene are unacceptable.
19/04/2026: We had a lovely time on the terrace (a beautiful, warm, and sunny day) on a pedestrian street. We enjoyed beautifully presented homemade ice cream sundaes. A carafe of water was included. The service was quick, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. 😊

18/08/2024: Excellent déjeuner en couple, bon rapport qualité prix, le compressé de poulet sauce cacao était étonnant et délicieux, bon accueil y compris pour notre petit chien qui a eu droit à une gamelle d'eau, à refaire !
12/08/2024: Malheureusement, nous n'avons pas été conquis.
La cuisine n'était pas assaisonnée, la raviol n'avaient pas de goût, et le carpaccio de bœuf non plus.
Les plats n'étaient pas copieux, voir vide. Nous sommes ressortis sur notre faim, c'est dommage.

Afterwards, I go to the toilet, the boss comes back to me (outside), apparently I did something wrong in his sink but without soap I didn't necessarily use it. .. he has to go to the toilet after each use 😆
Then first round 2 pints €17 well no worries.
Second 22€ for the same thing... so I don't understand, I'm going to see him to ask him and there, catha on this beautiful Sunday as he says so well...., the guy is having a fit of d hysteria while I was only asking for explanations (I had already paid for my drink and yet he wanted to take it back 😅)
It was crazy, this man doesn't seem to like his customers, we only come very infrequently and what's more, he blames us... I don't understand what happened , maybe he was drunk? I wasn't upset for my part, but then he... he was coming back and forth towards us and returned to his bistro finally... nothing was normal in the service, we left having spent 39€ for 4 drinks. . I prefer to warn, maybe he is misogynistic I don't know but I still have the right to have drinks wherever I want without being reproached when we come to see him... crazy all the same, I have hallucinated between laughing and sad for him 😪
Oh and I almost forgot, impossible to get the ticket with the details of our order.. suspicious.

We had a very good Sunday lunch, but the Sunday evening dinner was a bit disappointing. My beef burguinon was tough and the creme brulee was obviously straight out of the fridge.
30/09/2024: Accueil très agréable. Nous devions manger vite car nous allions à un spectacle dans la commune voisine et ils ont été très efficaces : nous avons pu mangé en 3/4 h de formidables oeufs en meurette, fromage et dessert. Qualité et rapidité !
