Le salon des fous sur Val-D'Isere

Good food, warm welcome, and excellent service. The only drawbacks, which prevented us from giving it 5 stars, were the terrace being practically on the road and the tables being very close together, and of course the prices, but that's become common in Val d'Isère!

The service was adequate and the location was good. However, I was disappointed with the "artisanal" ice cream, which had a strangely artificial taste. I also would have preferred real lemonade instead of the Sprite I was served. I find it difficult to agree with all the reviews left on Google...

Great atmosphere, fast service. The food was very, very good, and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

A very central location, a relatively extensive menu, and homemade dishes are what this establishment offers. For a crêperie, the selection of crêpes isn't particularly generous, but this is compensated for by daily specials, croque-monsieur and croque-madame sandwiches, and salads. Prices are reasonable for Val d'Isère. The food is delicious, and the service is friendly. In short, a good place for a quick bite or to linger a little longer in the evening.

Food was good. Made a reservation for 7:30, which was an option, but the kitchen closed at 7:45?! We were new to the area and this restaurant would have been a better breakfast place.

Excellent place for lunch. It’s small and can fill up during peak hours, so a reservation is recommended. The food is delicious and the setting is charming. Their Italian beef tartare is amazing, and so are their savory crêpes.

I went there on a Sunday evening around 6:45 pm, but I was craving soup. It was practically empty, very peaceful. I was seated right away and ordered their soup of the day, which was pumpkin soup served with croutons and cheese. Honestly, it was delicious, exactly what I was looking for that evening, and the prices are reasonable for Val-d'Isère. Very friendly service. Homemade food.
