Le San Marco sur Sete

As a resident of Sète for the past seven years, I've always loved Le San Marco. We've eaten there several times as a family, and it's always excellent: the welcome is warm and friendly, and it's easy to strike up a conversation with the chef and the waitresses. We even spent New Year's Eve there, enjoying a meal that's a bit pricey, but well worth the cost because you leave completely satisfied! If you're planning to spend New Year's Eve there, be sure not to eat lunch. I recommend the Atomic pizza: it's excellent, topped with real merguez sausages, not frozen slices. It lives up to its name: if you like spicy food, you'll be in for a treat! To finish, the crunchy sundae with nougatine, vanilla, and whipped cream is the perfect way to wash down the pizza. (PS: Yes, the service can be a little slow, but it's worth the wait. If you're in a hurry, you're better off going to a fast-food restaurant!)

This restaurant was recommended to us; the pizzas were indeed good, but the wait was over an hour. There was only one waitress and one person in the kitchen to manage everything. The organization needs improvement.

We discovered this restaurant during our holiday in Sète, and we were pleasantly surprised by both the welcome and the food! During our entire stay, it was the only restaurant that offered us a high chair for our son! The waitress provided impeccable service! The bartender made excellent and perfectly balanced cocktails! And the chef prepared a delicious and generous meal. Many people complain about the wait, but know that it's worth it considering the quality! Thank you again; for our last evening in Sète, we will definitely be back!
