Very nice. For me, this is a restaurant I'd forgotten about in Mende because it's a bit out of the way and, more importantly, the storefront isn't very visible to passersby. The meal was excellent and the welcome was warm.

The Sanglier team saved our evening. We were passing through Mende during a local festival, and without realizing it, all the restaurants were full. They kindly agreed to take us in, with a cep discovery included. Good cooking, good wine. Easy on the turnip, though 😉

Le Duo Gourmand

11/10/2025: We were given a very warm welcome upon our arrival. A delicious local menu followed by a complimentary appetizer... a very pleasant experience with a little background music and a chat with the owner. A small establishment in the old town of Mende, which requires a reservation in advance. A must-see address. Everything was excellent. See you next time on your next visit to Mende.
