The welcome and the perfect service... my companion and I were delighted and will come back and give a little wink to one of the waitresses for dessert... I'm still laughing about it.

Beef with salad and bake potato was all very good! The duck with baked potato and salad were magnificent! Tender and sooo flavorful. Desserts beyond perfect! Dame Blanche and lle flotante au caramel Maison, Tres bien!

Very nice experience. Very good cuisine, impeccable service. A little long on dessert following a freezer problem and no water to wash your hands (but temporary following a breakdown). Very pleasant staff and friendly tent atmosphere.

La terrasse sur la place est agréable, nous nous sommes régalés tous les 3!!! Pizza au top, entrecôte divine, l’araignée de porc succulente.(le tout grillé au feu de bois) Les frites maison parfaites. Goûtez les profiteroles maison c’est une tuerie. En résumé foncez et le tout pour un tarif plus que correct. Bravo !!!

So I didn't eat in this restaurant, I didn't even go in. Nevertheless, this restaurant deserves the highest possible rating. For what ? Because quite simply the man who works there is very friendly. We were parked in front, our dog was drinking water from his bowl and the owner (or so we assume) came out to offer us some fresh water for the dog. So you who are reading this review, remember that if you want to see the value of a man, look at how he treats animals. And given the way he is, I think his cooking must be at least as nice as him.

27/01/2025: Refined cuisine. Pleasant service. A cozy but not stuffy atmosphere. Normal prices for an establishment of this quality. We can't wait for spring, let's go back and enjoy the shade of the beech parasol.

24/09/2024: We came for dinner after our Hennessy experience at Hennessy, and there they recomend us this place for dinner. The place is located in a super nice building in front of the local market. The service was exceptional (our waiter said was his first day, but he was super good). The food was exceptional, the music is an interesting option, with rap and a bit more modern music, but in a very good volume and selected with very good taste. And gives a very good ambience to the place. Was really difficult to choose what to eat, everything on the menu looks amazing. About the price we spent 37€ per person for a meal with a starters, mains, dessert and drinks (beers and cocktail). So I think is a very good price. We are going to come back for the lunch, they told us that for lunch they have a “markets menu”. We can only recommend this place on your next visit to Cognac.
22/09/2024: We experienced the Origins restaurant as a family last night and what can we say, just incredible, we had a great evening. Very warm welcome, background music, very pleasant setting 😊 The cocktails and the cuisine reflect the incredible restaurant 🤤 we had a great time, I really recommend this restaurant without hesitation 😊
