Le savoyard sur Rambouillet

A truly wonderful culinary experience at Le Savoyard. I enjoyed an excellent morel mushroom fondue; both the quality and quantity were spot on. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The setting was also pleasant. Even though there's no real competition in the area, it's still a very good fondue, whether you're a local or from elsewhere!

Excellent experience at this Savoyard restaurant! The raclette was delicious, made with high-quality ingredients. The value for money is truly outstanding. The restaurant is quite small, so it's a bit crowded and sometimes noisy, but despite that, we were delighted with our meal and will gladly return!

We were looking for a place to eat during our visit to Rambouillet, and we chose Le Savoyard after looking at the photos and menu. Savoyard dishes are always a safe bet. 😁 We weren't disappointed, and the atmosphere was exactly as shown in the photos—a real little piece of Savoy in the Île-de-France region. The service was very pleasant, with a lovely family team. There's a nice little outdoor area perfect for drinks around a fire pit. We didn't try it, but it looked well laid out.

I came for lunch today, and Le Savoyard was a lovely surprise, especially with such beautiful weather. The service was professional and efficient. The à la carte menu was delicious. It felt like being in a ski resort. I highly recommend it.

The fondue was good but the portion was relatively small. The desserts were uninteresting. The service was inconsistent, depending on the staff member. In conclusion: Nothing special

I'd heard about it for ages and finally went. My only regret is not having gone sooner. Small but cozy, everyone is great and the fondue is just like in the mountains.

A wonderful discovery! Le Savoyard is a warm and welcoming restaurant, unique in Rambouillet, with an atmosphere reminiscent of the traditional guesthouses of Haute-Savoie. The cheese-based specialties (raclette, fondue, croziflette, etc.) are excellent. I tried several fondues, including the morel and truffle ones: all delicious, although the truffle flavor was a little understated. The portions were a bit small, but the desserts were lovely. The staff is charming and very attentive. The only slight drawback is that the aperitif service is a bit rushed, as the main courses arrive very quickly, but you can then relax and enjoy yourself. A great place for lovers of Savoyard cuisine.
