The hotel may not be the newest, but it's perfectly located and has a great atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. Two restaurants serve delicious meals. A well-equipped exercise room and a fairly large swimming pool. A ski room with lockers and boot warmers. Direct access to three Meribel Mottaret ski lifts.

An excellent stay... once again at this beautiful hotel. The welcome was impeccable, literally at the foot of the slopes, and very warm. The hammam and sauna are musts for après-ski.

The positives: the staff were excellent, both at reception and in the bar and restaurant, not forgetting the housekeeping staff. The physiotherapist was also a plus. The ski-in/ski-out location and the quality of the restaurant and breakfast were excellent.
The negatives: the bathroom was tiny and outdated, with no shower, just a bathtub and a shower head. In the bedroom, there was nothing to hang clothes on after skiing, and the dressing room was poorly designed. The mirror was behind the TV. Another negative point was the non-functional ski locker.

We were a group of 8 men staying half board in 4 twin rooms.
The ski in/out location is brilliant and the attached ski shop is brilliant in putting your ski's out for you in the morning and taking them back at the end of the day good quality equipment and friendly staff.
All the hotel staff are friendly and very efficient, we had concerns about being half board but the quality of the breakfast was very good, complete and catered for all tastes. The food in the main restaurant was exceptional with a variety of amuse bouche starters and a good selection of mains, the filet de beuf rossini being exceptional !!
Negatives, there are always negatives, the bathrooms had a shower over the bath and no screen so care was needed not to flood the place and the bar prices despite the good service are expensive !.
Overall a great experience and in our opinion value for money, we will definately return.

Let me first start by saying the hotel is very very well located. Right there at the lift. Truly perfect location.
Rooms are now dated and would need refreshing. No shower. Very basic set up. Truly in need of a serious update, considering the price.
Breakfast is ok, but basic. Very basic. I was told in no uncertain term .... get your coffer yourself (via machine) and we can not prepare any omelette. So, the buffet it is. A nice buffet, nothing special, but good. But, nothing to make you feel good.
Service at the reception desk and general feel was horrible, well below expectation. We are repeat cutomers, and I brought friends there, introducing them to the hotel. We asked for late check out and, after waiting, were told .. free for an extra hour then possible but at a cost after. That was tacky, very cheap and tacky. My room was not done till very late afternoon for 2 days before; I know that the hotel was not at all full on our last few days; nevertheless they, without any justification, tried to extract a few euros from us. If it had been full, absolutely, I would get it. But, just to extrat a few euros from repeat customers, ... tacky and tasteless.
Finally, pool, sauna, etc. need serious serious updating. Area is old and need cleaning / updating.
So, disappointing stay ... this should be much better .. they can.

Love the Hotel Mont Vallon Meribel! Great staff, perfect location only a few steps to the slopes. Breakfast and dinners are excellent. Do the half board as dinner choices are very good and you don’t need to leave the property.
