Le Signal sur Uvernet-Fours

Usually my wife and I, as good Italians, do not dare to take pizzas abroad because we have often been disappointed. We made an exception for the café des Molanès and we were well rewarded for it. The pizzas are delicious, huge and reasonably priced. The desserts are also very generous and delicious. The atmosphere is warm, the setting, typically mountain, very pleasant. The new owners are very friendly and available. In short, a restaurant that we recommend.

We went there during our ski week, everything was homemade and very good. I recommend without hesitation!

Located on arrival of the Fornet cable car in Val D’ isere, take the ‘train rouge’. On 3 levels; fine dining restaurant on the first floor, self service restaurant and bar on the ground floor. We’ ve tried the fine dining restaurant for a lunch on a weekday at a table overlooking Alpe'dHuez and the surrounding mountains on the terrace. We had a reservation but no need for a weekday I guess, because it was so empty and the atmosphere was so boring, no need to spend a long time just a quick bite to eat at the self-service/fast food style restaurant downstairs is fair enough. The menu is fine dine French cuisine, I’m ve tried ‘Lapin casserol’ but I liked the risotto instead which was a side, the serving pot was not suitable even to eat. Service was ok, the chairs with the furs were colourful and comfortable around the tables. I recommend; Sauris D’agneau with polenta Risotto Cafe gourmand (desert)
