Great resort for ski lifts.
Incredible views from Cime Caron and Pointe de la Masse.
Plenty of activities for everyone: tobogganing, swimming pools, downhill karting, the lake, Chez Pépé Nicolas, etc.
However, many businesses don't participate until the end of the season (last week of August), so it lacks atmosphere, which is a real shame.

We love this resort. Our accommodation is right at the foot of the slopes, so we can park our car (which we almost didn't find this year 🙃), and there are little shops, including a cheese shop! Oh my god, our budget is taking a hit!
The slopes are superb, and you can access the 3 Valleys and Val Thorens. The ski instructor is great for both parents and children. In short, it's fantastic.

Beautiful resort in summer. With plenty of hiking trails. However, the lift pass prices are still outrageous compared to other resorts.

Excellent base for (serious) hikes in the mountains (summer period).
Plenty of ski lifts open in the summer, also affordable (7-day package).
We recommend walking the route to Lac du Lou (via the single track, not the road).
Then, from the refuge, go up a short distance and take the middle path. Continue walking past the lake. Stunning route and views, with a nice waterfall.
