Very warm welcome Good couscous Worth discovering

We left the restaurant with a friend. It was my first time trying Tunisian cuisine, and frankly, I was won over!

Excellent, couscous and tagine, very fragrant and generously served.

Le soleil de l'orient is one of the best Tunisian restaurant we visited. The vibes are so warm. We really felt home 🏠. The lady and the man are so welcoming and kind. The decoration is like a small trip to Tunisia. You can find specific decoration from Tunis, Djerba, Kairouan and Nabeul. We even watched Tunisian match for the CAF there. For the food, we came from the Netherlands to Lille and we decided to visit this restaurant and it was the best destination and the best choice we made. For a long time I was looking for a Tunisian pasta Fell with lamb and I found it there. It was really spicy and delecious more than I expected. We also took Lablabi and it was so tasty. They offered us free Tunisian soup 🍲. It was also tasty. We ended up with Tunisian Green tea 🍵 it was just wonderful. We are planning to come back again. I strongly recommend this amazing restaurant 🥰

A very good Tunisian restaurant. We enjoyed Mylohia, just like in Tunisia. It's a delicious dish that brought back childhood memories. The couscous and brik pastries are also very good. The portions are generous, and we left feeling completely satisfied. As for the owners, they are lovely people who take excellent care of their customers. I even left with some Mylohia to make at home in memory of my mother, who passed away a few years ago. Don't hesitate to visit this very welcoming restaurant with its genuine people; you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Where to begin? We arrived as a large group and were welcomed like royalty at this family-run restaurant, managed by lovely, generous people. The food was delicious and plentiful, the service was super fast, the mint tea was a perfect 10/10, and the staff were wonderful... what more could you ask for? The best Tunisian restaurant I've tried abroad. It was truly a treat. The portions were generous and the quality was top-notch. A big thank you to the owners, who are very kind and welcoming.
