An excellent restaurant in Douai. We had a wonderful time at this establishment, where the welcome was warm and the setting truly unique. The meal was delicious, with perfectly balanced flavors. I particularly enjoyed the chicken, which was tender and beautifully presented on a thoughtfully decorated plate. The service was attentive, especially when the mint tea was served in the traditional way. A great find that I highly recommend.

This is a wonderful restaurant and was by far the best meal we had in Douai. We ordered the lamb and merguez couscous and everything was cooked perfectly and served with a vegetable stew and very tasty Harissa. The restaurant is beautifully designed with floor to ceiling North African tiles and the bill for 2 with wine and mint tea came to €50. Definitely worth a visit.

We were very warmly welcomed, the atmosphere was friendly, the meal was excellent, nothing to complain about from the amuse-bouche to the perfect dessert, I highly recommend it and we will be back.

Honestly, the meal was good, the meat was good too, the couscous was perfect, but it lacked spices. I'm not giving it 5 stars because the prices are a bit high. My mother wanted to eat with me for one meal because I don't eat much, and they insisted that we each order one dish. Luckily, I ate everything, otherwise it would have been a waste.

26/06/2026: An excellent experience at this Douai restaurant. We received a very warm welcome and the setting is truly lovely. The food is delicious and plentiful. We particularly appreciated the presentation of the dishes, especially the tagine served in a beautiful terracotta dish. Everything was delicious and perfectly seasoned. This is a place I highly recommend. We will gladly return to try other specialties.
