So, where to begin? A place outside of time, with people from another era. A place where you're pampered, where you're remembered, where everything is done to offer you an unforgettable evening. And it truly was. But it's unfair! As a result, the excellent cuisine and generous portions (almost excessive, wouldn't you say?) go almost unnoticed. Far from the cookie-cutter, Instagram-ready experiences, it's wonderful to rediscover a world that once existed and no longer does, but that we missed. Thank you for everything. The Gennaro family.

We discovered this restaurant thanks to Google and your reviews. And what a surprise! A warm and attentive welcome, impeccable service, and delicious food. A wonderful discovery upon arrival: a ventilated terrace with a misting system; we enjoyed a cool lunch despite the 37°C heat. Thank you.

We arrived late (8 pm) but were nonetheless warmly welcomed with our two dogs (a Belgian Malinois and a Husky), who also received a royal welcome upon arrival (water bowls and treats). This shows that their presence is not just tolerated, but genuinely accepted. The staff is attentive, helpful, and cheerful. After our aperitif and starter, we were treated to our main course (steak tartare) being prepared right at our table. A gentleman, who clearly knew what we wanted and had a keen eye for detail, impressed us with his precise measurements and the overall success of the dish. This is truly rare and much appreciated. I thank them for this wonderful evening. I highly recommend it and encourage you to try this experience.

01/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at the Alsatian Tavern! The food was refined, generous, and truly delicious. The service was more than pleasant throughout the meal. Special mention goes to our conversation with Valérie, who was incredibly kind and friendly! The setting is lovely: the dining room is very charming. Our only slight regret was not having enough change to leave the tip they so richly deserved! We will definitely be back.
31/07/2026: It was a lovely experience with friendly staff and fine dining atmosphere including child friendly facilities : child menu and diaper changing station in the toilets for families with small children. We had the menu de la taverne and de la saison and we enjoyed it very much. The wine pairing was carefully selected and tasted very well with the food. The chicken and fries in the child menu was nice as well. Definitely a recommendation for those who appreciate French cuisine!

22/07/2026: Very convenient for those staying at the residence. Good food.
21/07/2026: During our holiday in Katzenthal this week, the kids got to choose where we would eat today. So, at 6:30 PM, we were standing at the entrance of Aux Berges de la Fecht, where we were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. After looking at the menu, 3 of us decided to choose the Mix Tapas and 2 the Angus beef. "I hope those tapas are enough," one of us wondered. And it certainly was enough. More than enough, in fact! Afterwards, a delicious dessert, and we were ready to face the world again. We had a great meal and found the service amazing and super friendly. As far as we are concerned, it is definitely worth repeating!
