Le Square sur Beaune

A very enjoyable dinner after a long day of driving. Staff were super friendly and happy for our kids to share a main course, we had mussels, fish and steak and which were all delicious. Much enjoyed.

Unfortunately, I only have a photo of the dessert, but the soup and meat were delicious and beautifully presented! A truly great little place with plenty of tables outside! Reservations are much better!

A fantastic discovery thanks to Michelin's recommendations. The cuisine is bistronomic and more. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I was delighted to have dined there for my 46th birthday. The small starter of mussels and beans was incredibly fresh and a perfect pairing.

The excellence promised by the price of the dishes was not found on the plates: the ribeye steak at €39 was overcooked (and ordered rare) and far from the advertised 300g, the plates were very sparsely garnished (a few slivers of courgette as an accompaniment)... we ate well, but the value for money is not correct.

Featured in the Michelin guide, it's located just off the main square where all the tourists visiting Beaune flock, yet conveniently located for exploring this magnificent town. We dined on their terrace under the trees, quiet, with the perfect temperature and friendly service. The menu changes with each guest. We tried two very good appetizers, but the main courses were magnificent, particularly the magret de canard (one of the best we've had on our travels in France) and the entrecote with mushrooms and red wine, accompanied by an exceptional potato syphon. The desserts were excellent, especially the strawberry and raspberry millefeuille, made fresh and served with a strawberry sorbet. We drank a very good Burgundy Aligoté (they have a very extensive list of Burgundy wines). All in all, an excellent dinner!

It's good, but the menu is very limited if you don't want to share the ribeye or leg of lamb. And it really doesn't deserve a Bib Gourmand. The staff is huge, but the service is slow. The servers spend their time wandering between tables but aren't efficient. We had to ask twice for everything: water, new drinks, the menu, the bill, etc. The terrace is dreadful. It's divided in two and regularly driven over by cars that pass within centimeters of the tables. I don't recommend it.

We're from Switzerland, and this restaurant was the perfect way to end our day in Beaune. The welcome was warm, and the entire team was friendly and attentive. A big thank you to the sommelier for his excellent recommendations, as well as to the person who took our order. You can feel the passion of this team working in perfect harmony. The meal was simply delicious; the ribeye steak and duck breast were perfect. Thank you to the whole team for your kindness, professionalism, and good humor. Moments like these are the kind of travel memories you never forget. We look forward to returning!

The restaurant was full, but we managed to find a small table. The Angus ribeye steak was perfect with chanterelles and a sublime wine sauce—yum! It's best to reserve. Thank you.

Excellent wine list, a menu with very few options but inventive and delicious. Attentive and high-quality service.

A great lunch for a very good price. Not truly classic French cuisine, but classic flavors presented in a modern way. Also a nice selection of wines by the glass, with some bold options outside the classic Burgundy wines (for example, try a Savagnin from Burgundy, classified as Vin de France, which makes it very affordable as well).
