Nicolas welcomed us as at home...a sappy person like you never see anymore. Everything was good...the quality of the meat was exceptional.

We had a great time. Kind and proactive staff, a girl on the staff spoke Italian. Ordered the house specialty and rosti. The house, then, both internal and external, is typically local.

Short late stop in Colmar Tested on a flea market day, rather nice atmosphere Regional product rather well treated but cold spatzle was brought back to me when my other half had finished eating Cool service

Hectic was the order of the day, service spread hectic! Bacon good, sausage good, sauerkraut bad and not seasoned. Half a potato per plate, but lots of dry bread! The wine was very tasty! The next time we visit Colmar we will look elsewhere.

Repas en famille, très bon plat, spécialité maison ( Roestis maison, cordon bleu délicieux) prix correct terrasse très agréable bien éclairé et aéré.

Excellent food and service in this typical town square, mainly outside restaurant. Our waitress seemed in her first Summer in the job but was friendly, mainly efficient and had a great sense if humour. Our Alsacian food was great as was the wine and beer. A good value meal all round.

28/12/2025: I had the pleasure of a preview tasting of a festive menu at Winstub Bartholdi. Refined and perfectly executed cuisine, showcasing exceptional ingredients: semi-cooked foie gras, Bartholdi-style fish stew, a perfect egg yolk with truffles, and roast pigeon. A truly wonderful culinary experience in a warm and traditional setting.
20/12/2025: Excellent! It's a bit pricey, but it's right in the tourist area. Every dish was a 10/10. We were very pleasantly surprised!

23/11/2025: Stopped here to get an espresso, because it was one of the only places open earlier on a Sunday. Their coffee is from one of those automated machines, but of course a patisserie isn't necessarily going to have a proper espresso machine. It was good enough, but I was really impressed with the staff. They were extremely friendly. Looked like they had a really nice assortment of pastries.
