We had an evening meal here. Very lucky to get a table without reservation. Ate outside. Food was good, as was the service.

We often go to Alsace and didn't want to eat tarte flambée or something similar again.
The restaurant “Caveau Restaurant Stewala” offers more than just traditional Alsatian cuisine. The salmon with balsamic sauce was great and my husband's chicken was also very good. The dessert (Guglhopf glacé and profiteroles) were delicious. Everything at a very good price-performance ratio with very friendly service! We will be very happy to come back!

A very nice discovery, as a family, at the end of our vacation in the region. Everything was perfect from the main course to the dessert, including the wine. A cuisine with succulent values and tastes. Beautiful, simple and effective presentation. Perfect service, the waitress is friendly and professional. She also helps to have a good time. THANKS

Excellent restaurant serving Alsatian specialties.
We went there twice.
First time for a braised ham and second time for a sauerkraut.
The wines are very good and the blonde beer the same.
Finally, you absolutely must try the frozen Kougelhopf for dessert.
Super warm welcome.
Ideal place to eat on the terrace in peace while being in a very beautiful village

Nous avons très bien mangé. Les plats sont simples mais bons et en quantité suffisante. Nous avons pris les rognons de veau et le jambonneau braisé, en plat. Les desserts, d'apparence simples, sont très bons : le Kouglof glacé (avec de délicieuses cerises au kirsh) se démarque de tous les autres que nous avons mangé ; le tiramisu aux myrtilles était très bien aussi.
La dame, seule en salle, était gentille et très efficace. Elle a assuré le service avec calme et sourire. En cuisine, le chef était également seul et il a assuré. Nous ne pouvons que féliciter cette équipe et recommandons, sans hésiter ce restaurant.

Delicious local cuisine. We chose a very garnished Stewala salad as a starter (on a bed of salad and small tomatoes: slice of homemade foie gras, fillets of homemade smoked duck breast, confit gizzard and smoked trout)...A real treat! Then my partner had a baeckehopf with salad and I had veal kidneys with pinot noir and spätzle. Again, beautiful proportions and very well prepared... we enjoyed ourselves. To finish we fell for a homemade blueberry tiramisu! Excellent.
Recommended address for the quality of the cuisine and the friendly welcome.
