01/07/2026: This was the best meal we had in Alsace. Found it by accident and what a great discovery. The food was cooked superbly especially the Bream. Also loved the Munster Cheese flambe. Great wines from the next door winery. The service was lovely especially when it started to rain and we were sitting outside. They quickly found tables inside for us upstairs. Highly, highly recommend

18/05/2026: A wonderfully run small hotel with newly renovated rooms and very comfortable beds, right in the center of Turckheim, and featuring an excellent restaurant.
Every course of the menu was a pure delight; you can order perfectly paired wines, which further enhances the experience. Perfect service, very good breakfast. Wonderfully quiet at night. The train station is only 400 meters away. Free parking is available Friday through Wednesday at the Place de la Republique, 300 meters away.

Everything was perfect.
The house aperitif was a delightful surprise.
The dessert was very refreshing, served in a glass of sparkling wine.
A very warm welcome.

23/07/2026: We came for lunch with a friend, and the experience was very disappointing.
We waited about 20 minutes for our aperitifs (Monaco chocolates with amber beer). Then, we waited over an hour for a single slice of pâté en croûte with two salad leaves.
Once we finished our appetizers, we waited a long time for our plates to be cleared. During this time, unpleasant smells emanated from the restaurant.
The main courses also took an extremely long time to arrive. I had ordered rare steak, but it arrived cold. Rare steak is fine, but hot steak is even better.
At no point did we receive the slightest apology. The only explanation was: "It's the heatwave," even though it had ended a week earlier.
We will not be returning.
17/07/2026: We wanted to eat at 1:15 pm. No longer possible, because a thunderstorm was imminent. We grabbed our bikes again, and lo and behold, the French guests of the restaurant who wanted to eat were moved under the parasol where we, as Germans, had wanted to sit. And this wasn't the first time this had happened to us. It seems to be quite common in France these days; Germans are no longer welcome.

04/08/2026: 🥨 First discovery in Colmar: a great place to remember!
For my first time in Colmar, the hotel recommended this restaurant, and frankly, I wasn't disappointed! 😍
First of all, the setting is very pleasant, with a lovely terrace—and remember, it's the middle of August! ☀️
The staff is very friendly, attentive, and takes great care of the customers. As for the food… a real treat! 😋
I highly recommend trying the Alsatian specialties, perhaps accompanied by a good wine or a Crémant d'Alsace. 🥨🍷

2 aperitifs
1 bottle of water
2 main courses
2 desserts
Honestly, excellent value for money!
If you're ever in Colmar, I highly recommend stopping by this place and trying out their dishes.
And as they say in Alsace: "When it's good, you don't count the pretzels!" 😂🥨 A wonderful discovery for me... and certainly not the last! ❤️

The pizzas are superb, with a thin, crispy, and truly delicious homemade crust.
The French ribeye steak is also top-notch—perfectly cooked and tender.
Friendly service, I highly recommend it.
25/07/2026: Several specials were on the menu tonight, each with a side of fries and vegetables. However, when the dish arrived, the vegetables were nothing more than a single lettuce leaf cut into three small pieces. When I asked where the vegetables were, as specified on the menu, the waiters had no answer other than that the chef didn't have any vegetables that evening. Since I didn't want to eat this dish, the chef ended up coming over himself, offering completely unconvincing excuses, and ruining the pleasant moment I was enjoying with my family by threatening to call the police if I didn't pay for the dish! I find this deplorable and shameful for a restaurant owner who doesn't even recognize the difference between serving vegetables and salad! I think this gentleman should go back for training, if he even had any—that remains to be seen! This restaurant is a tourist trap; don't fall for it! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. As a resident of the village, I can assure you there are much better options right next door! I wanted to try the Stammtisch experience again, but it's a disaster!

21/09/2024: Hier kann man wunderbar speisen, gemütlich sitzen und wird von der Service-Kraft äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient. Besser geht es kaum. Da es im Innenraum nur ca. 20 Sitzplätze gibt, ist eine vorherige Reservierung ratsam. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank!!!
14/09/2024: Ein kleines niedliches und gemütliches Restaurant. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Gute regionale Essensauswahl und geschmacklich absolut top. Definitiv zu empfehlen und wir kommen gerne wieder.

07/08/2024: De bediening was vriendelijk en de pizza’s uitstekend! Rijkelijk belegd, dikke bodem. Tenminste een pizza waarvan je verzadigd bent. 10/10!!
02/06/2024: Pizzas bien équilibrées, (il n'est pas nécessaire d'ajouter de l'huile pimentée pour avoir du goût), élaborées avec des produits frais de qualité.
Lorsque vous entrez dans cette pizzeria, vous serez accueillis par le sourire et la gentillesse de Maeva et de son équipe !
Nous avons toujours plaisir à y déguster nos pizzas favorites...
