During our stay in Turckheim, we had the pleasure of dining at Stewala (be sure to book ahead!) and enjoying the chef's delicious dishes. We savored every bite and received a very warm welcome. Don't hesitate, go for it!

A charming and very typical Alsatian spot. Everything is homemade. All products come from local producers, and their origins are listed on the menu. It's beautiful, it's delicious, and the welcome is warm. Thank you for the quality of your restaurant.

Amazing atmosphere and design inside. Delicious food and nice service as well (very flexible to our broken French). Not sure if I’ll ever be back in Turckheim, but will visit Stewala again if I do!!

Traditional cuisine in a pleasant setting right in the city center. It's best to book ahead to be sure of getting a table. It's a shame they no longer served the Munster fondue.

A pleasant setting where you receive a warm welcome. However, perhaps the organization or the choice of the daily special could be improved to better manage the lunchtime rush. We had to wait over an hour for a sirloin steak that was more sirloin than tenderloin…

This is a restaurant I frequent, whether for lunch or dinner, and it's always a real treat. The chef is a true artist and has a gift for elevating every meal. The service is impeccable. I'm never disappointed and highly recommend it.

19/05/2026: An excellent restaurant that I highly recommend. Everything was perfect, from the aperitif to the dessert. The sauerkraut was excellent, and what can I say about the meringue ice cream... Thank you for the quality of the food, the atmosphere, the friendliness, and the very pleasant service. We will be back.
19/05/2026: The special dish, hot Munster cheese with potatoes, was especially delicious. The Bäckeoffe was okay and lactose- and gluten-free.

19/05/2026: Absolutely fantastic restaurant! Dinner was amazing. Highly recommended.
18/05/2026: A wonderfully run small hotel with newly renovated rooms and very comfortable beds, right in the center of Turckheim, and featuring an excellent restaurant. Every course of the menu was a pure delight; you can order perfectly paired wines, which further enhances the experience. Perfect service, very good breakfast. Wonderfully quiet at night. The train station is only 400 meters away. Free parking is available Friday through Wednesday at the Place de la Republique, 300 meters away.
