There's always room for improvement, but we had a wonderful evening. The weather was fantastic, the service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and even without a reservation, we got a table thanks to the staff's quick and efficient management. Very pleasant and stress-free. The food arrived very quickly and was delicious. We weren't pressured to leave – wonderful! Highly recommended.

In the 70s and 80s, my aunt used to take me there on Sundays to eat their frozen meringue or vacherin glacé; it was a must. I went back after all these years... No water carafe, no bread, no salt and pepper... We didn't understand... The carpaccio was covered in (too much) pesto and mayonnaise... The vacherin had become a very thin slice for €7, and for an Alsatian restaurant...

The photos of the food don't do the place justice. It was all great food, good portions. The spaetzle withbsleck was gobbled down by my difficult eater. The spaetzle that came with the Bouchée de la reine excellent. All suggested wines are of great quality and amazing, they don't charge one cent extra if you order by the glass.... The service was amazing. Super efficient.. the kitchen is ultra fast despite the terrace being sold out.. Only shame is I saw the suggestion board too late and missed out on the squid/poulpe. Will go back!!

20/09/2026: Excellent place! Sauerkraut with beer (not white wine). So, the "traditionalists" will say it's not "real," and they're right, but at least you won't have it sitting in your stomach all day! The cabbage and charcuterie were top quality. There was only one person in the dining room and one in the kitchen, yet the wait was perfectly reasonable. The chef is a true master, who knows his craft. Well done!
12/09/2026: We ended up here by chance and were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good. The waitress was efficient, friendly and attentive.
