Booked at 12:30 PM, children's menu arrived at 1:30 PM. The owners fill the restaurant without mentioning the wait time; they clearly didn't anticipate the good weather 😁. It's obvious the atmosphere isn't there; they're unfortunately overwhelmed. Second attempt, we're done here.

The lunchtime set menu is inexpensive at €16, but the beef portion is only 100g, so be careful with the quantity as it's a very small portion. Regulars are served better than those just passing through, which is a shame. I won't be going back.

21/04/2026: We had a great evening, the meal was excellent and reasonably priced, and the owners were very pleasant.
19/04/2026: Good evening, I was in the area today in La Bernerie, and I enjoyed a lovely lunch at this restaurant. I received a very warm welcome from a very kind and wonderful young woman, who was always smiling and very polite. My order was taken very quickly and I was served just as quickly. The meal was delicious and very reasonably priced, especially on a Sunday, and the bill was very reasonable. That's why I highly recommend it to anyone passing through La Bernerie (delay 44). Please spread the word and help others discover this great restaurant by the sea. Thank you kindly, Christian Garreau. 🙂👍

22/02/2026: We were delighted with the seafood sauerkraut meal; we thoroughly enjoyed it for my parents' birthdays. There were seven of us, and the welcome, service, and food were all top-notch. A big thank you for the thoughtful touch of dessert for my parents; they were thrilled to have such a lovely time at the Oceanic. Many thanks to the entire team.
