Go-kart descent is really a great experience!

Lack of activity at the station

We did two activities at the Roc d'Enfer estate: the decent go-kart to start with and the swincar. The decent in karts was full of emotions. This activity was recommended to me by my sister who came last year and we had a great time. I just find that this activity remains dangerous. Additional protective equipment should be made available such as gloves, for example, or knee and elbow protection in the event of falls. For the swingcar ride I was even a little mixed about it. Having paid 80 euros for a 1 hour ride I expected a "1 hour ride" not 20 minutes of driving then a 20 minute break and 20 minutes for the return. We still discovered a nice place for a walk. I therefore allow myself to take the average of the two activities carried out for this note. Thank you to the team for their welcome.

Hello, I would like to share my experience yesterday so that this does not happen again to other people. We rented the mountain scooters and although this is a great activity which energizes the resort during the summer period, the level of security is really very light. The course is technical, many very steep places with large stones. The machines are heavy and can quickly pick up a lot of speed. No protection is obligatory except a small helmet and closed shoes. However, it would be much more judicious to have gloves, long sleeves and at least knee pads (as is done in many other places or for downhill cycling for example). Following a fall, I have 3 stitches in my hand which could have been avoided with gloves. When I arrived at the emergency room, there were 2 people in front of me who had fallen in the same conditions. And for your information, all 3 of us are quite experienced athletes (DH, trail running, hiking, etc.). This is not at all a message against the station. We were also very well received and informed following the falls. Just to warn people who would embark on this trail in the future that it can be dangerous. Also see if the station can provide more protection. Enjoy your summer and take care of yourself!
