Fantastic views, friendly owners, good food. I love this place. My advice, order a proper meal and marvel at the scenery. It is a shame to fill up quickly with a plate of chips and go, although this is an option. It is open in Summer and winter. You can find many local people here which is always a good sign.

Never disappointed when you eat at L'Escale Blanche, winter or summer, you always have a pleasant time and the food is delicious 😋! Always a friendly welcome 🙂 and a convivial atmosphere 🙂 with the added bonus of a superb panoramic view of the mountains 🌲🌲 Friendly waiters and managers 🌞🌞👍👍

A great spot in the heart of a resort that's admittedly past its prime. But this year everything's great 🙂 Credit cards accepted from €10 Top-notch coffee, cappuccino & croissants!

Fantastic restaurant right across from the ski slopes, we all had a wonderful meal. The menu catered for the whole family, with a great variety of dishes – a real treat! The staff were excellent and very attentive. Highly recommended!

02/04/2026: Great place! The atmosphere was amazing. I believe Mark is the owner. He and his staff were really wonderful. They were on top of everything. Very friendly people. You felt very at home. Everyone talked to everyone. There were a lot of regulars there. A mix of English and French. The music was great. Chris Kern played that night and the whole place was hopping. Everyone was singing and dancing and having a great time. Beware of the steep steps to the bathroom. They are ancient and original to the building and really cool!
28/02/2026: A huge thank you to Mark and Greg for their kindness and hospitality throughout our week-long holiday. A truly fantastic bar with a great atmosphere. Looking forward to next year!
