03/05/2026: Terrible Experience: "Outing Turned into a Carrying Duel" *Date of Activity: February 20, 2026 *Price: €125 (Family) As local residents and regular customers of Roc d'Enfer, we were extremely disappointed by our Mountain Kart outing in Saint-Jean-d'Aulps. What was supposed to be a fun family activity turned into an exhausting and frustrating experience. Why we don't recommend it: * Unusable Tracks: The poor quality and lack of snow on a large part of the course made the descent impossible. As a result, we spent most of the time carrying the karts on our backs instead of driving. * Lack of Transparency: An initial session scheduled for February 17th was canceled by management due to poor conditions. Why were we offered a new slot on February 20th when the state of the tracks was just as deplorable? The guides know the terrain perfectly well and should have cancelled the activity out of respect for the clients. * Non-existent customer service: At €125 per session, this is simply unacceptable. Despite several refund requests sent to the Roc d'Enfer management, we have received absolutely no response. In short: A blatant lack of professionalism towards local and loyal customers. It's pure and simple theft.

02/04/2026: Beautiful ski area. I hope they don't close it. It's really special. There's access to so much skiing and my family says it's wonderful there in the summer too. The views are spectacular. There's a small restaurant as you come off the gondola with delicious food and the green beer was a delight. They were still doing in early March. The local school is very involved in raising money to allow everyone the opportunity to ski. The tartiflette they sold was amazing.

02/04/2026: Great place! The atmosphere was amazing. I believe Mark is the owner. He and his staff were really wonderful. They were on top of everything. Very friendly people. You felt very at home. Everyone talked to everyone. There were a lot of regulars there. A mix of English and French. The music was great. Chris Kern played that night and the whole place was hopping. Everyone was singing and dancing and having a great time. Beware of the steep steps to the bathroom. They are ancient and original to the building and really cool!

28/02/2026: A huge thank you to Mark and Greg for their kindness and hospitality throughout our week-long holiday. A truly fantastic bar with a great atmosphere. Looking forward to next year!
