24/02/2026: Well, we went in this restaurant in winter, so maybe that explains what follows and the positioning of the restaurant is different in summer.
The service was friendly and efficient.
The menu was rather limited, with only a few dishes proposed. These were not really original, one salmon-based, one meat-based, one poultry-based, and the local specialty “filets de perche” that all local restaurants propose. The dishes come only with French Fries or pasta, no vegetables proposed.
The cooking was rather average, the fish was too salty, the poultry was overcooked. The meat was good, though. The corresponding prices are not average, though, more in line with something more “semi-gastro”.
So alas, unfortunately a small disappointment, we expected better.
19/09/2025: A truly wonderful experience.
The cuisine, entirely homemade using only local produce, is a real asset. The dishes are delicious, the regional wines are offered at very affordable prices, and both the coffee and the local pear brandy are excellent.
The setting is exceptional and the wait is virtually nonexistent. We'd even ask for more, that's saying something!
The name "gourmet restaurant" on Google Maps could be adjusted: it's more in the spirit of a semi-gastro, which doesn't detract from the quality of the cuisine.
I would have gladly given it 5 stars, but a few small service details could be improved: no wine tasting, few explanations about the dishes (especially for the cheese plate), and empty glasses or bottles weren't cleared away. Nothing too serious, especially since the team was lovely from start to finish, letting us enjoy the terrace until 11:30 pm on a Wednesday evening, which was much appreciated.
In short, a truly enjoyable meal in a charming setting. We'll definitely be back on our next vacation!
