Le Tendance sur Fontainebleau

Been there 4 times in 3 weeks already, the cassoulet is a must try !

Finally, someone who knows how to make coffee properly. Bravo!

A great restaurant. Homemade dishes. Impeccable service and a very pleasant waiter.

I ordered the onion soup and the mussels. I enjoyed the taste of the sauce and quantity of the mussels which came with a side of fries. The onion soup was okay in flavour but came warm.

It seems that Fontainebleau has a lot of tourist-trap restaurants these days where you can't get a traditional French lunch. Having declined a fair number of these we decided to give La Tendrance the benefit of the doubt based on the traditional menu, and were very glad we did - the food was excellent! Bavette, a quality piece of meat and cooked to perfection at medium. Veal kidney in Madeira sauce, very fresh and cooked rare as requested. It is simple cuisine but tasty and done well, we were very happy. So if you're wandering around trying to escape the expensive tourist traps, just come here 🙂

No children's menu. A shame when you're going with a 4-year-old.

Excellent restaurant, the mussels are fresh and the Périgord salad is generous. A great spot with pleasant and helpful waiters.

The food is decent, but the wine is very expensive! They offer us a bottle but forget to tell us the price. The surprise comes at the till. My dear bottle!!

What a great find! We've been living in Fontainebleau for a long time and had never been to Tendance...what a mistake! The food was generous and delicious, the tarte tatin was superb 👍🏻, the atmosphere was friendly, and the music was good. Absolutely fantastic! Don't change a thing!
