A real gem in the heart of Fontainebleau. Le Franklin nails what you want from a French restaurant — proper, delicious cooking with a menu that actually gives you choices. Everything we tried was excellent, the location couldn't be better for a stroll afterward. We'll be back.

We discovered this charming restaurant as a family of five in the evening and tried several dishes to sample a little bit of everything. It was impossible to leave without leaving a glowing review. The service was quick and very pleasant, with a very friendly waiter and waitress. The food was incredibly delicious! And the speed of service was perfect. I've rarely eaten such tender meat. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We discovered this bistro during a weekend getaway, and it was a wonderful find. The menu was excellent, the food delicious, the portions generous, and the service pleasant. The waitress was very attentive. A truly great discovery. I highly recommend it.

28/04/2026: We discovered this restaurant thanks to Google reviews and we weren't disappointed. We opted for the €49 set menu on a Tuesday evening; be aware that reservations are essential. The flavors were spot on. The sea bass fillet was superb, served with parsnip purée, herbs, and herb oil—a well-thought-out and balanced combination. A glass of wine ranged from €9 to €13. The service was attentive. The setting under a glass roof is chic but not stuffy, with a decor full of originality—kudos! A restaurant true to its modern and creative cuisine. Don't hesitate to stop by; the value for money is excellent.

26/05/2026: Excellent pastry shop, delicious macarons, canelés and éclairs, the best bakery in Fontainebleau without a doubt, but the friendliness could be improved depending on the person who serves you.
24/05/2026: First time at this bakery. We wanted two cakes and asked what was in the "sunburst" cake. The server looked at us, sighed, and replied, "Well, pear." We asked for bread and if there were any other kinds... same thing. We didn't even bother ordering anything other than the baguette and left... we won't be back!
