The food was good. Not overdone, but good. The staff were attentive and the service was prompt. Good wines. The atmosphere gets 3 stars because we found it a bit impersonal. Furthermore, we find the less touristy spots to be a more enjoyable experience. But then again, I am a tourist myself, of course.

Our group of 4 enjoyed a delicious lunch. We all chose different items off the menu, and they all were good. Service was friendly and attentive. Lovely lunch to split up our day of Champagne house visits.

This restaurant was a wonderful discovery, even though we're from the area and had never been before. We celebrated my parents' wedding anniversary there with family. We'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed a full meal here consisting of a starter, main course, and dessert, and everything was taken care of down to the last detail. The flavors were refined, the dishes beautifully presented, and the portions perfectly balanced. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even more pleasant. You can feel that the work here is done with passion and an eye for detail. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for good food.

La cave de l'avenue de champagne

04/05/2026: Breakfast was very delicious. The room was nice. The internet connection was not good.
12/04/2026: The hotel boasts a prime location right on the Avenue de Champagne and makes a truly beautiful first impression. However, upon closer inspection, it becomes apparent that some areas could benefit from a bit more upkeep and maintenance. We stayed in the "Banana Room," which pleasantly surprised us – it was especially quiet at night, significantly better than expected for such a central location. The bathroom could be improved: Unfortunately, there's no towel rack, so you have to improvise to hang your towels. This is somewhat inconvenient. Breakfast was good and perfectly adequate. However, the reception is only staffed for a few hours a day, which can be a bit limiting depending on your needs. Overall, it's a nice hotel with a lot of potential that could be truly outstanding with a few improvements.

10/08/2026: Great selection, quality food, friendly service, professional waitress, reasonable prices. Whenever I'm in Épernay, I go there without hesitation.
30/06/2026: Very disappointed with our meal. I thought I was going to have a great time, but no. €19.90 for a menu that looked like it belonged in a school cafeteria is a bit much (raw vegetables, pasta with a rather bland veal Milanese, and a fruit salad that wasn't very fresh). We've eaten at truck stops for €12 before and we've never been disappointed. I won't be back.
