What a delightful surprise Sunday lunch with friends and family at La Terrasse du Chatel was!
There were 13 of us, and Nicolas managed to find us a table in a restaurant that was already quite full! A warm welcome, impeccable service, and excellent value for money for a touristy spot!

Very nice, pleasant servers, good salmon, pizza nothing special. Nice interior. But the presentation of the terrine as an appetizer is limited 😁 Two slices on a slate would be more appropriate than the glass jar from Metro LOL

The restaurant is well located with a lovely setting. The food is tasty, but the biggest plus is the friendliness of the waiters and staff, both to adults and children.

During our visit to Provins, we stumbled upon La Terrasse du Chatel. It was a delightful surprise. Everything was perfect: a warm welcome, a superb setting, and excellent food (especially the pizza). A truly wonderful discovery. I highly recommend this establishment. If I return to Provins, I will definitely go back.

I went for dinner at the end of August with friends. It's the second time I've chosen La Terrasse du Châtel, and the first time wasn't a fluke. The food is excellent and delicious, the atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are professional and very friendly, and the bill was quite reasonable.
In short, I highly recommend it!

A nice spot on the square with a lovely terrace. However, the service was quite slow (we were seated on one side of the terrace, and once our food was served, we didn't see anyone again...).
I ordered the steak tartare, but it wasn't very good and was very basic 😕. It wasn't exactly gourmet food, and I regretted my choice.

We had a great time at this restaurant: a mixed platter with good quality ingredients, reasonable prices for alcoholic drinks (€11 for 18-year-old whisky!), and above all, a lovely outdoor setting!
Minor drawbacks: the service varied in friendliness depending on the server, and the portions were perhaps a little small for the price of the platter (€20), but overall, nothing disastrous, I'll definitely be back!
