We came for lunch on the terrace of Le Chatel. The waitress who greeted us was rather unfriendly when taking our order. The set lunch menu (€23.90) was very good. However, the waitress came to ask us to pay while I was finishing my coffee. Furthermore, when it came time to pay, I asked her to pay for a set menu plus a coffee. She didn't know the price of the set menu and therefore asked me to calculate the bill myself… I understand that she doesn't work there every day, but asking a customer to calculate their bill isn't very courteous.

We had a wonderful time with our family on the sunny terrace. The welcome was very pleasant, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant in the heart of the village. 💯

A very pleasant lunch break at this restaurant in Provins, especially with their set menu of main course and dessert for €23.90 (including a glass of wine or soda). The dishes were generous and of good quality, and the service was super friendly and professional.

Before going, I checked the reviews.
To our surprise, everything was perfect.
A very warm welcome, and a special touch for my birthday 🍾🎉🍾: Phil Collins music.
The breaded chicken was exquisite, the cod loin was delicious. The pizza was generous and satisfying.
The savory dishes (calamari, fried onions, breaded chicken, mozzarella sticks) were a treat for the taste buds.
The French toast and nougat glacé were wonderful desserts.
We are completely satisfied and will be back very soon.
