Le Tiramisu sur Lannemezan

Truly authentic Italian dishes, flavorful and perfectly al dente pasta! Excellent cuisine expertly overseen by a true Italian... Don't leave without trying the tiramisu, melt-in-your-mouth and generously sized. A must-try if you're ever in Lannemezan.

Passing through the region, we wanted to discover Italian cuisine, and the name reassured us. But that was all there was to it! What a shame, the owner is Italian! We were offered the set menu. No menu. Oh? And the Italian dishes? You need fillet with Gorgonzola sauce! Oh, okay. Then came dessert: crème caramel, fromage blanc with chocolate crunch. And the Tiramisu? Oh, but you didn't order from the menu! If you like, I can change it? Okay. And then, the ultimate disappointment. The Tiramisu I make myself with ladyfingers! Wow. The food is good, more French than Italian, what a shame. The highlight of the story is, of course, the air conditioning—misters! The mist drips on you, and I felt like I was standing on the counter at my local fishmonger's. A very unusual and pleasant restaurant nonetheless.

Excellent meal, homemade, very friendly Italian owner. The pasta was fantastic. The tiramisu was a little too sweet for my taste, but that's a matter of personal preference.

Friendly welcome and the parking is a plus. Quick service. Adequate portion size.

We returned to Tiramisu on a Sunday in May and regretted passing through Lannemezan without stopping there. Undoubtedly, it's the best Italian restaurant in a fairly wide area. You don't come for the ambiance, but you'll discover and appreciate Italian cuisine full of authentic flavors, presented by an owner who can bring each dish, already perfectly described on the menu, to life for you. The efficient and smiling waitress completes the reasons why we recommend this restaurant.

The owner is Italian, but the cuisine has little to do with Italian food; it's not authentic.
