21/08/2026: Generous portions of food made with fresh, local ingredients. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were excellent. We ordered the homemade burger, the duck with peaches, the carpaccio, and other dishes. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal in a pleasant atmosphere, and the prices were very reasonable. A very good experience that we highly recommend. Reservations are advised.

04/08/2026: The welcome was friendly, as were the waiters/waitresses. However, for the children's menu, we asked for rice instead of fries, since it was included in the daily special and therefore already cooked. The kitchen's response was that rice would cost an extra 3 euros... Okay, so we ended up ordering fries, which were loaded with fleur de sel, just like the hamburger... My wife's daily special was decent, except for the canned fruit salad served in a canteen-style glass (at least make a little effort with the presentation). We're not expecting the moon from a motorway service station restaurant, but still, a minimum standard. As for me, a Camembert (well, half a Camembert) with no dressing whatsoever, barely melted. Anyway, thankfully the service was alright.

06/08/2026: I love the restaurant's ambiance! The food is excellent. However, I don't understand why the woman who runs the restaurant doesn't answer the phone when we try to call to make a reservation and why she refuses new customers even though the restaurant is empty.

Hotel restaurant de la demi lune

27/05/2026: Excellent, impeccable value for money! I've rarely seen such a clean hotel. The only slight drawback during this very hot season was that the room was an oven... despite our efforts to close the shutters and windows. We were told they were considering the air conditioning budget, but why not have a fan in the mountain-facing rooms in the meantime, as the cool air only arrives at midnight? Despite this minor detail, I recommend it to everyone I know; the staff is very professional. So thank you to the team!

Excellent. Impeccable and discreet service, hushed atmosphere.
08/09/2026: A superb establishment we frequent for its gastronomic appeal. Impeccable service and refined cuisine. The only drawback: the person appearing to be the manager should remember that the gruff, "manly but proper" demeanor is more suited to the rugby field than to a restaurant reception.

01/08/2026: Truly authentic Italian dishes, flavorful and perfectly al dente pasta! Excellent cuisine expertly overseen by a true Italian... Don't leave without trying the tiramisu, melt-in-your-mouth and generously sized. A must-try if you're ever in Lannemezan.
22/07/2026: Passing through the region, we wanted to discover Italian cuisine, and the name reassured us. But that was all there was to it! What a shame, the owner is Italian! We were offered the set menu. No menu. Oh? And the Italian dishes? You need fillet with Gorgonzola sauce! Oh, okay. Then came dessert: crème caramel, fromage blanc with chocolate crunch. And the Tiramisu? Oh, but you didn't order from the menu! If you like, I can change it? Okay. And then, the ultimate disappointment. The Tiramisu I make myself with ladyfingers! Wow. The food is good, more French than Italian, what a shame. The highlight of the story is, of course, the air conditioning—misters! The mist drips on you, and I felt like I was standing on the counter at my local fishmonger's. A very unusual and pleasant restaurant nonetheless.

21/09/2026: Since the McDonald's was renovated, the dining area, the tables, the outside, the trays are all dirty, and the trash cans are overflowing.
There's a nauseating smell when you walk into McDonald's.

After a 15-year absence from the plateau, everything has changed except Jeff, its iconic owner, its beers, and its 100% pub atmosphere.
An institution, a must-stop if you're passing through Lannemezan.
