I highly recommend it! Reservations are strongly advised. The food is excellent, and the owner/waiter is fantastic—humorous and cheerful! An address I'll definitely keep in mind.

Although we hadn't made a reservation and all the restaurants (including this one) were fully booked that evening, the owner managed to accommodate us by finding a solution. In the end, we didn't regret being turned away elsewhere, as the evening was such a success! It's a friendly, family-run establishment with a very pleasant, down-to-earth atmosphere. The raclette was excellent and, above all, very generous. For dessert, the French toast-style brioche was initially offered with salted caramel, but the chef kindly agreed to serve us homemade chocolate sauce at our request; we greatly appreciated this gesture. A very good address that we will definitely remember for our next visits to Vars.

We had a reservation for 7 pm and had a lovely evening. The only slight drawback was the aperitif selection: it was quite limited (house aperitif, wine, or beer). I would have loved a Spritz, but it wasn't offered. We then had a Savoyard fondue served with charcuterie and salad for €26, which is very reasonable price-wise, and above all, delicious. We also tried the burgers: a very pleasant surprise! The bun was wonderfully soft, the meat flavorful, frankly excellent. For wine, we chose a Crozes-Hermitage, which was decent without being exceptional. To finish, we had a Bavarian cream and French toast with vanilla ice cream: a real treat to end the meal. The service was very good, and the little touch of a complimentary glass from the owner was particularly appreciated. In short, a great place with excellent value for money. We will gladly return.

The atmosphere was very pleasant, but the food needed to be of a slightly higher standard, or perhaps the bill could be a bit cheaper. The rapper, quality, and price didn't match my point of view.

Always so friendly, even in peak season. Prices are always reasonable and the quality is excellent. A really pleasant place where the owner, Olivier, welcomes you with a smile. Parking is easy and free. Accessible for people with reduced mobility, a small terrace allows you to enjoy your meal in the sun. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are very generous.
