16/08/2026: The welcome and service were very warm, and they were very accommodating with our baby :) The interior dining room and toilets are a bit dated, but the dishes we chose were delicious and generous, at a very reasonable price (Champsaur salad with tourtons and cured ham for €17; ravioli gratin with ceps for €23).

30/08/2026: When it's raining, a Nutella crepe and a delicious waffle make for a perfect little treat at Rocky. The staff is incredibly attentive. I highly recommend it.

29/08/2026: Après-ski is the best hangout in Vars. The management is very friendly, it's a family business, and the products are excellent: crepes, smoothies, and hot chocolate. The decor is beautiful, and the music is great. A very relaxed atmosphere.

27/08/2026: The welcome was incredibly warm, and the crepes were excellent and generous. The owners were super friendly and gave us advice on hikes and holidays in general. We went back several times to eat there, including for a pizza which was also excellent.

26/01/2026: We hadn't even tasted the food yet and we already wanted to leave. We were a table of 15 who were going to order a lot, but that didn't stop the servers from being unpleasant. It wasn't possible to make even the smallest change to the burgers despite our allergies. The waitress's responses were curt. We didn't feel welcome at all. 26/01/2026: An arrogant boss or manager who likes to badmouth his customers at the checkout; it's just awkward when you're standing right there. Personally, I won't be eating there again; there are far better restaurants in Vars where you get friendly service.

07/06/2026: Seriously the worst carbonara I've ever eaten in my life. I tasted two or three forks, but I had too much self-respect to go any further.

04/05/2026: The place is nice, but the waiter... My god... He's about as friendly as a prison guard! Four of us sat down, each ordering, and one of our friends showed up with his own sandwich. The guy practically threw us out, telling us it was totally forbidden, like we'd killed someone... So, customer service? There isn't any... And then, five minutes later, the guy over the PA system came up to us and said we weren't allowed to drink from our reusable water bottles, even though we'd already paid for our paninis... So we left quickly after eating and paying. I've never seen anything like it...

05/04/2026: Very disappointed. My dish arrived, but my companion's was no longer available. She had to wait about 40 minutes while I left my plate aside so we could eat together. The duck breast, which I ordered rare, was well-done. We reported these issues to the staff, and they told us it was due to the end of the season. This explanation is hardly acceptable and in no way justifies this level of service. An experience far below the expected standard for this type of establishment.

05/04/2026: Catastrophic. It's important to highlight the good experiences, but also to share the bad ones, especially for a restaurant that presents itself as a 3-star establishment. During our visit, the service proved particularly disappointing. After ordering two courses, my companion's was served, while I was informed at the last minute that my dish was no longer available. I then had to wait almost 40 more minutes before being served. Regarding the dishes: the duck breast, ordered rare, arrived well-done. The cocktail, on the other hand, was simply undrinkable. While the other dishes weren't bad in themselves, the overall experience fell far short of the expected standard for a 3-star restaurant. We also spoke with other customers who shared the same disappointment regarding the overall quality of the experience. Fortunately, the resort is full of other quality restaurants, often more modest in appearance, but far superior in terms of service and cuisine.
