18/07/2026: We came as a family of six on short notice. The welcome was truly lovely. Excellent value for money. Fresh, homemade products. It's definitely worth the trip.

17/07/2026: Excellent welcome, very pleasant setting. The restaurant offers a traditional menu and barbecue dishes. Top-notch! A place worth discovering.

22/03/2026: My family and I ate there and received a very warm welcome, a great atmosphere, and the food was delicious (and the dessert was incredible).

27/07/2026: Very average restaurant. Let's start with the hygiene... Ice cubes are handled with bare hands, the cutlery isn't clean, I had a dirty fondue fork and pointed it out to the waiter who gave me another one and put the dirty one back in the fork tray without washing it... Same with dessert, sticky little spoon. When you go to pay, take a look at the kitchen, it's not great either... We ordered two Savoyard fondues and two tartiflettes; they weren't amazing but edible. The final blow came with dessert: tiramisu with burnt candied apples, and the cherry on top, or rather the cherry on the cake, was Crozet pasta in the vanilla ice cream of the "Chocolate Delight"... See for yourself in the photo. If we're talking about the atmosphere, let me tell you, this is a restaurant where I think the father cooks and the son waits—what a strange relationship! 😅 The waiter is constantly being reprimanded, and not in a very friendly way either, in front of the customers. Go somewhere else; you'll definitely get more for your money!

28/05/2026: We waited an hour for four salads. The waiter and the cook were overwhelmed. They would have been better off not serving us, as it made our journey very late.

17/07/2026: Very tasty and super fresh sushi. Cozy and trendy interior, and the host is pleasant, unforgiving, and fun. Highly recommended in Vars. (and finally, no cheese for a change)

06/08/2026: Not recommended. A completely savory, greasy crepe made with white flour for €16: unacceptable. It shouldn't even be allowed to call itself a "creperie".

26/01/2026: We hadn't even tasted the food yet and we already wanted to leave. We were a table of 15 who were going to order a lot, but that didn't stop the servers from being unpleasant. It wasn't possible to make even the smallest change to the burgers despite our allergies. The waitress's responses were curt. We didn't feel welcome at all. 26/01/2026: An arrogant boss or manager who likes to badmouth his customers at the checkout; it's just awkward when you're standing right there. Personally, I won't be eating there again; there are far better restaurants in Vars where you get friendly service.

05/04/2026: Catastrophic. It's important to highlight the good experiences, but also to share the bad ones, especially for a restaurant that presents itself as a 3-star establishment. During our visit, the service proved particularly disappointing. After ordering two courses, my companion's was served, while I was informed at the last minute that my dish was no longer available. I then had to wait almost 40 more minutes before being served. Regarding the dishes: the duck breast, ordered rare, arrived well-done. The cocktail, on the other hand, was simply undrinkable. While the other dishes weren't bad in themselves, the overall experience fell far short of the expected standard for a 3-star restaurant. We also spoke with other customers who shared the same disappointment regarding the overall quality of the experience. Fortunately, the resort is full of other quality restaurants, often more modest in appearance, but far superior in terms of service and cuisine.

05/04/2026: Very disappointed. My dish arrived, but my companion's was no longer available. She had to wait about 40 minutes while I left my plate aside so we could eat together. The duck breast, which I ordered rare, was well-done. We reported these issues to the staff, and they told us it was due to the end of the season. This explanation is hardly acceptable and in no way justifies this level of service. An experience far below the expected standard for this type of establishment.

07/06/2026: Seriously the worst carbonara I've ever eaten in my life. I tasted two or three forks, but I had too much self-respect to go any further.

04/05/2026: The place is nice, but the waiter... My god... He's about as friendly as a prison guard! Four of us sat down, each ordering, and one of our friends showed up with his own sandwich. The guy practically threw us out, telling us it was totally forbidden, like we'd killed someone... So, customer service? There isn't any... And then, five minutes later, the guy over the PA system came up to us and said we weren't allowed to drink from our reusable water bottles, even though we'd already paid for our paninis... So we left quickly after eating and paying. I've never seen anything like it...
