The welcome and service were very warm, and they were very accommodating with our baby :) The interior dining room and toilets are a bit dated, but the dishes we chose were delicious and generous, at a very reasonable price (Champsaur salad with tourtons and cured ham for €17; ravioli gratin with ceps for €23).

I highly recommend it! Reservations are strongly advised. The food is excellent, and the owner/waiter is fantastic—humorous and cheerful! An address I'll definitely keep in mind.

Although we hadn't made a reservation and all the restaurants (including this one) were fully booked that evening, the owner managed to accommodate us by finding a solution. In the end, we didn't regret being turned away elsewhere, as the evening was such a success! It's a friendly, family-run establishment with a very pleasant, down-to-earth atmosphere. The raclette was excellent and, above all, very generous. For dessert, the French toast-style brioche was initially offered with salted caramel, but the chef kindly agreed to serve us homemade chocolate sauce at our request; we greatly appreciated this gesture. A very good address that we will definitely remember for our next visits to Vars.

25/08/2026: This isn't our first time here, and it won't be our last. The rooms are impeccably clean and comfortable. The owners and all the staff are professional, attentive, and caring, while remaining discreet. We love the restaurant. The food is delicious and plentiful. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. In short, a great place to recharge and unwind.
