You quickly understand that this place thrives on the heart before it thrives in the kitchen. The service? A perfectly choreographed ballet: fluid, elegant, precise, but above all, profoundly human. And a special mention to the waiter: quick-witted, funny, witty, always spot-on, the one who lightens the atmosphere, brings smiles, and transforms a simple meal into a truly shared moment of pleasure. And then there’s the food… How can I put it? It’s not simply delicious, it’s moving. Each dish tells a story: respect for the ingredients, a love for the craft, generosity without ostentation, mastery without arrogance. You eat, you close your eyes, you smile, you fall silent for a moment—because some moments deserve silence. You leave feeling satisfied, happy, slightly nostalgic… and already thinking about when you can come back. This isn't just a restaurant you try out. It's a place you fall in love with.

Very unique experience in the heart of Megeve. The restaurant itself has a rustic and traditional feel, with small quirky parts that all make up the overall experience. The staff are very polite and helpful, and they make sure you’re well looked after. Had the veal (was soft and full of flavour), the sea bass (melts in your mouth), and the beef rossini (never tasted anything so amazing before). The price is a bit on the expensive side, but if you want great quality and experience then you shouldn’t be put off by this. I can’t wait to go back here. Merci beaucoup, Le Torrent.

I loooove this place! I come here every time I come to Mégève & my lunch today didn’t disappoint! The service was excellent, my waiter (a tall guy from Corsica) couldn’t have been nicer (I did forget his name though🤭) the atmosphere always cozy & beautiful, the food is so delicious & the « apéritif maison » was a perfect treat! I highly recommend it! Wouldn’t miss it!

An excellent restaurant! The dishes are refined, the service is attentive without being intrusive, and the setting is typical of the mountains. A truly wonderful culinary experience that I recommend without hesitation.

The food was good quality and well-presented, but lacked flavor. The service was pleasant but slow. Tables were crammed together, and it was noisy. There was a lack of privacy.
