Very good food but it takes a very long time to serve, too bad the rest is very short, plan on 2 or 3 hours to eat

I recommend this restaurant. We took the market menu. Good value for money. Nice setting, friendly welcome, fast service, tasty dishes and quite generous for traditional cuisine.

Very warm welcome. Very good cuisine: specialty of frogs (for frog eaters!) and fish. Very close to the Abbaye lake, very good location

We were seduced by this restaurant, the decor of the room is simple but very pleasant and original. We chose the fisherman's menu which we found delicious, quantitative and very reasonably priced. The very professional waiter informed us very well about the origin of the fish and cheeses which were excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Upon arrival, you are seduced by the warm atmosphere of the place: a beautifully decorated interior, combining elegance and simplicity. The menu highlights fresh fish and perfectly prepared fried dishes. The portions are generous, and the flavors are there. Every dish is a pleasure, from starters to desserts. The service is also impeccable: friendly and efficient, with good advice on choosing from the different specialties. It’s the kind of restaurant where we happily return, as much for the quality of the dishes as for the charming setting.

We had lunch in this establishment with reasonable prices. The dishes were excellent. The service was a little long and disorganized.. It took us 5 minutes to each take turns bringing back a spoon to taste the melon ice cream that accompanied our starter.. We will never know which fish of the day we ate, but it was was excellent.

16/12/2024: Podium for this hotel-restaurant in the upper Jura. Value for money: OK. Fresh, homemade products at the table. Space for dining, nothing to complain about. A sure value and it is not the only establishment that I have been able to visit in France and abroad. Keep it up!
02/12/2024: Great value for money, the hotel deserves much better than a 2 star, access to the lake, the rooms (with balcony, lake view) are charming and very well equipped. The spa (free), very beautiful space with a beautiful heated swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a sauna and a hammam. Finally, the icing on the cake is the catering, delicious and refined, in a beautiful room and TOP service, thank you all for this enchanted break

Hotel de l'Abbaye

05/09/2024: Very nice hotel, the food is great and the area is really very quiet, a change of scenery on the edge of the small lake.. the rooms are top notch, a little extra with the heated indoor swimming pool..
03/09/2024: My wife and I recently spent a week at Hôtel de L’Abbaye. Our stay was most pleasant in this establishment. Sandra the extremely friendly receptionist who from your reservation until your arrival will go out of her way to satisfy you. Chef Francis (owner) and his team prepare particularly fine and tasty cuisine, all with fresh market produce. The breakfast buffet won't let you go hungry, as you'll find everything your stomach will enjoy before heading out for a stroll around the lake. The dining room beautifully decorated and decorated with flowers day after day by Michèle (the owner) who from one table to another during the service will be at your disposal to make your meal a very good time and will happily share a few words with you and his humor will more than likely seduce you. The team of servers under the supervision of the always very jovial butler Frédéric will make your meal a very pleasant experience. The rooms will certainly bring you calm and rest thanks to the silence that reigns in the corridors and the maintenance of the rooms, which are perfectly maintained by staff who are as discreet as they are efficient. The private beach with its deckchairs facing the lake and its breathtaking view will allow you to spend long hours in the sun or in the shade of the trees, enjoying good moments of tranquility.
