A real treat! If you're looking for a hearty meal with quality ingredients, you've come to the right place. From the fish soup and salmon steaks to the baby squid and Basque cake, you'll never be disappointed, except perhaps by having to choose. Which is why we went back the very next day. A very friendly welcome, humor and good cheer, and quick service. In short, we highly recommend it.

We stopped for lunch in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and opted for the €25.90 set menu (starter, main course, and dessert; drinks not included). It was a reasonable option for the area, although the experience was rather unremarkable.
The food was fine, nothing special: decent ingredients, average presentation, and flavors that didn't leave a lasting impression. The service was acceptable, nothing to complain about, but nothing that made it stand out either. For a destination as beautiful as Saint-Jean-de-Luz, with its wide range of restaurants, it's hard to enthusiastically recommend it. If you can't find anything else, it'll do. But it's worth exploring a bit more before making a decision.
