Paella... Reimagined for €20! Needs improvement! Only one shrimp, a few mussels way overcooked. 😞😞 On the other hand... A set menu (starter, main course, dessert) for €25.90 if I remember correctly!! To each their own!!

Excellent meal with a set menu, top-notch service until the owner arrived. He was in a hurry to take our table for the next customers! When taking payment, he practically grabbed the bills... truly unpleasant! The waiters were very welcoming.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while strolling through the streets of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, with its multitude of bars and restaurants where you can have a drink, tapas, or a full meal.
We walked in and left delighted. The set menu was €25.90 for a starter, main course, and dessert. There was a slight imbalance in the starters: five mussels in vinaigrette compared to a lovely trio of tapas (a croquette, a basket of small fish/squid, and charcuterie). The main course was hake and veal axoa with a shared side of leek fondue and new potatoes. The dessert was a vanilla ice cream sundae with whipped cream, Basque cake, and red berry coulis. When paying, I mentioned the slight difference in the starters, and the waiter offered us a digestif. His colleagues were also very helpful and professional. A great little spot not far from the shop famous for its Basque cakes... Paris
